🧭 Step by Step

Step 1: Facilitator Profile

  • To view student progress , first ensure you are logged in as a facilitator. Check your profile at the top right corner of your screen.

Step 2: Navigate to Progress Tab

  • Once in the facilitator profile, you will see three tabs: Dashboard, Task, and Progress. Select the Progress tab.
Step 3: Select Competency Area
  • You will see all the competency areas listed that your school uses. Select the competency for which you want to check student progress.

Step 4: Filter by Learning Experience or by Group
  • The default progress tab setting shows all learners. To view a set of learners, you can either filter by learning experience or by group.

Step 5: View Student Progress
  • Once you have applied the filter, you can review student progress in both competencies and skills.

Q: Can I view multiple progress areas for one student?
A: While you cannot view multiple competency areas at the same time in Beacon, you can use the PLP to see progress across multiple areas simultaneously.

Q: What does the progress bar for each competency mean?
A: The progress bar shows the percentage of completed progress ratings for a competency. This includes any missing ratings.
